Teachers’ Credit Union hosts Appreciation Day for members

In the midst of this festive season, the SVG Teachers Co-operative Credit Union Limited (SVGTCCU) recognized the value of its members to its growth and stability.

The SVGTCCU joined in the celebration with the hosting of its Members Appreciation Day on December 18, 2018. Many members, customers, volunteers, other stakeholders and friends came in and interacted with staff members from 9:00am until 3:00pm that day.

The activity was held simultaneously at all the Branches including Canouan that was opened on November 23, 2018. They were visited by representatives of the Education Committee and other members of the ‘All Committee’.

A live radio link up from all the Branches was done and the Credit Union took the opportunity to promote the ATM service, Online Banking and highlight the activities from this year’s 40th Anniversary celebrations.

Various prizes were given away as appreciation was shown to those who stood with the credit union and helped to build it over the past 40 years. Additionally, the first new member who fully registered on December 18 at their headquarters or any of the branches (Barrouallie, Bequia, Canouan or Union Island) was refunded the registration fee.

The SVGTCCU also conducted blood sugar and pressure screening for members and anyone else who entered their doors. Each result was accompanied with appropriate advice and or referrals.

The SVG Teachers Co-operative Credit Union extends a Christ centred Christmas greeting to all. They wish for our Nation, peace and prosperity for the New Year 2019.
