GVNW gives back to the Golden Vale community

THE GOLDEN Vale Neighbourhood Watch (GVNW) has given back to the community Golden Vale, which includes the town of Calliaqua.

The GVNW assisted the Calliaqua Anglican School in September 2018 by donating three bookshelves for the school library.

Other material such as books, pens, pencils and backpacks were donated to the school on December 10. On the same day, other items were donated to the Calliaqua pre-school, made possible by the support of members and friends of GVNW who reside abroad.

The GVNW also made donations of clothing and toiletries to patients of the Mental Health and Rehabilitation Centre, which were presented on December 16.

The GVNW was formed in February 2017 after an individual attempted to break into 10 houses just after the beginning of the New Year.  The group is headed by Martin Bollers.
