Questelles Gov’t School hosts first Careers Day
This year the Questelles Government School held their Career Day on Friday June 1.
The day’s activities were held under the theme ‘Skilled Hands Work’ and were coordinated by teacher Christine Martin.
The career day saw the children interacting with invited professionals which included a chef, a veterinarian, a seamstress and a make-up artist.
The students also marched around the community. The day’s activities were concluded after presentations by the students which included displays in song, dance and descriptions of their career choices and attire.
Martin noted that parents and well-wishers also made the event exciting by coming out and giving their support.
