Rubis rewards customers at Kingstown service station

There’s always something exciting happening at a RUBIS service station.

Last Friday, October 28, customers at the St Vincent Automotive Co-Operative Society at Bentick Square in Kingstown were in for treats, as most of them fuelled up and got into the afternoon commute.

The service held a mid-afternoon customer appreciation campaign, which saw many of the persons who fuelled up being rewarded for making the service station their fuel and product provider of choice that day.{{more}}

Country representative Elroy Edwards, who was on hand to welcome and interact with the patrons and staff, said that his company decided to treat their customers in a new and creative way.

“We at RUBIS are always looking for ways to say thank you to all our customers who have generously embraced the brand and who have made Ultratec their fuel of choice… and today is no exception.

“Traditionally we would have a “spin the wheel” promotion, where customers would win the prize that the wheel would stop at, but this time around we have the RUBIS Zig Zag Game, and this is as exciting as the spin the wheel,” Edwards noted.

With the Zig Zag Game, customers purchasing $50 or more of fuel or any RUBIS product are eligible.

Patrons were rewarded with prizes such as RUBIS branded coffee mugs, USB chargers, footballs, windshield sunshades, openers, bags, pens and notepads, among other useful items.

The winners were all genuinely satisfied with the prizes and thanked Edwards, as well as the staff and RUBIS models, for giving something extra with their purchases.

Another highlight of the evening was the presence of St Lucian drag racer Brian Evans.

Evans and his RUBIS branded Mitsubishi Evolution were in St Vincent to participate in the motor sports events that took place here over the past week.

While at the service station, Evans posed for photographs and signed autographs with fans.

Edwards also pointed out that that the afternoon’s exercise was just another way for RUBIS to show appreciation for the customers’ loyalty, and indicated that RUBIS customers can expect more exciting activities from the company.
