Vincentians named among UWI St Augustine 2016 valedictorians
Two Vincentians are among a group of five students who have been designated valedictorians at the St Augustine Campus of the University of the West Indies (UWI) graduation ceremony next week.
Elizabeth Bullock and Calvon Charles, former students of the Girlsâ High School and the St Vincent Grammar School respectively, are expected to deliver valedictory speeches at graduation ceremonies on October 20 and 21 respectively.{{more}}
Bullock, valedictorian in the Science and Technology and Food and Agriculture Faculty, will graduate, with first class honours, with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics, with minors in Environmental Physics, and Electronics.
Charles, who also graduates with first class honours, will receive a BSc degree in Management Studies.
Vincentians have been named valedictorians at graduation ceremonies at the universityâs three campuses on several occasions, with 2012 being a special year, in that at all three campuses of UWI there was a valedictorian from St Vincent and the Grenadines.(CM)
