Adelphi Secondary secures fourth SSBQ win

Carla McLeod of the Adelphi Secondary School is the latest Secondary School Bible Quiz winner. She received her prize from Joel Jack, organizer of the Secondary School Bible Quiz for being her school’s fourth winner in the monthly quiz.{{more}}

Speaking at the assembly of the school on Monday, which was conducted by Ms Latham, a teacher, Jack stressed the importance of students regularly reading their Bibles. They were told that in order to know what is right from wrong, morally and spiritually, they need to read the Bible. The Bible is also the source from which faith in God can be obtained, Romans 10:17.

Each month three questions are asked from an assigned passage and persons answering all three correctly are placed in a draw, from which the winner is drawn. The monthly prize, valued at about $600, includes a Bible, $200 cash, and gift vouchers from Acute Cosmetics and Jujube.

Information on the Quiz can be found in the Searchlight, on the website www.ssbq.org , the Scriptural Search radio programme on WEFM, or on Facebook.
