Campden Park resident wins tablet from NTRC

Campden Park resident Minchu Keizer wanted a replacement for her broken electronic tablet and thanks to the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC), she got one.

Keizer is the winner of the NTRC’s awareness campaign Galaxy Tab A giveaway, which ran from June 6 to July 14.

The campaign asked persons to click on an advertisement of the NTRC’s Facebook page, fill out the form that came up, like the page and then invite a friend to view the page.{{more}} By doing all this, you were entered in a random draw to win a Galaxy Tab A.

“I feel good because I was trying last year to win a tablet from the NTRC and I didn’t get the prize, so I entered the competition this year and I told some friends about it also,” said Keizer, who added that she thinks that the NTRC is doing a great job in creating awareness about telecommunications and customers’ rights.

She said that she knew about the NTRC before entering the competition and wanted her friends to learn about the organization also.

“This is the second tablet that I am owning; the first one is not working, so I am grateful to the NTRC for this prize. It is a nice tablet,” said the third form Thomas Saunders Secondary School student.

Keizer received her prize earlier this month during a short handing over ceremony which was held at the NTRC’s conference room, located in the National Insurance Services (NIS) building on Upper Bay Street.

The tablet was handed over by NTRC’s Universal Service Fund (USF) assistant Gineal Joseph.(LC)
