A release from the SVGTU says these workshops will provide educators with the skills and confidence to reach every student with real, relevant differentiation, particularly in the areas of Mathematics, Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Assessment, and Early Childhood Education. The Early Childhood Education Workshops will run for three weeks, from July 11 to 29, 2016.

“These workshops will help teachers to equip students with the skills they need for the 21st century and to prepare them for Curriculum Standards success. They will also acquire the confidence and competence to successfully train fellow educators.

“All participants will be exposed to Trade Unionism and ICT Integration,” the release said.

All workshops will take place at the St Vincent Girls’ High School and will begin at 8:30 a.m.
