In an interview with SEARCHLIGHT after the performance, Roudette noted that the reception he got from the Vincentian public was an amazing one.
âBeforehand you are a little nervous; you donât know what the vibe is gonna be like. Because obviously, it is my first performance here, so to get that reception was a very beautiful thing and I am very thankful and very grateful.â
He also sang high praises for the sound engineers at the show, pointing out that they had an extremely professional set-up.
âThe equipment tonight was really good and I think that all the technicians did a really good job and I was lucky to have my band here, my crew as well and they were really encouraging about the local guys and the local crew,â Roudette noted.
Roudette also took part in other activities over the Carnival weekend, including the Climax Cooler Fete at Arnos Vale and the JâOuvert street party. He was also scheduled to be a part of the Flow Monday Jam band.
Roudette noted that he is happy to be back home, especially since he grew up here and is able to see so many familiar faces.
âSt Vincent is a very unique place, geographically, environmentally what we offer, the vibe of the people is different; the crew, the people and obviously I grew up here, so there are so many friendly faces; thatâs why it canât really compare to anywhere else.â (CM)
