Courts presents 2016 Miss SVG with laptop
The 2016 winner of the Miss SVG pageant, Nikianna Williams, has joined a long list of winners who have received a special gift from Courts St Vincent Limited.
Williams, who represented telecommunications provider Flow at this yearâs event, last Friday, June 17, received a brand new HP laptop computer from the electronics, furniture, appliance and eyewear provider, as part of the companyâs annual commitment to the show.{{more}}
âWe have been doing this for years and it is our pleasure to give an item to the winner of Miss SVG. We hope that what we give to them helps in their future ventures,â Courts commercial manager Lisa Veira said.
âThis year, Courts congratulates Miss Nikianna Williams on her triumph; we hope that her reign will be supreme, and that her venture into the Miss Carival pageant will be a success; that is, we hope she wins,â Veira added.
Williams, on accepting the gift, thanked Courts for the gesture, as she pledged to do her best at the regional pageant, slated for July 1, at the Victoria Park.
âI am truly grateful for this laptop, and I know it will definitely assist me in my upcoming venture and beyond.
âCourts St Vincent limited and the entire St Vincent and the Grenadines can be assured that I will be going all out to keep the Miss Carival title at home.
âIt is a pleasure and an honour to represent my country on the regional stage, and I will be doing my best to ensure that everyone will be pleased with my performance,â Williams said.
