ECGC to hold Livestock Husbandry Seminar next week

A Livestock Husbandry Seminar will be held in St Vincent and the Grenadines next week.

The seminar, hosted by East Caribbean Feeds, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Industry, Forestry, Fisheries and Rural Transformation, will take place on June 14 and 16 at the Methodist Church Hall.{{more}}

The seminar will focus on Poultry Production, Pigs and Small Ruminants and will be facilitated by Dr Robert Thomas, an experienced veterinary consultant from Jamaica.

Dr Thomas, accompanied by Ministry and ECGC personnel, will make field visits to various livestock farms throughout the island on June 13 and 15, to gain a deeper understanding of the practices of local farmers.
