New Democratic Party to hold candlelight march, rally

Supporters of the New Democratic Party (NDP) are being asked to

rally together, as the party hosts its first candlelight march and rally for 2016.

According to a post on the party’s Facebook page, the rally, which will be held on March 25 at Sion Hill, is said to be a call to “all defenders of democracy and decency.”{{more}}

Members of the NDP are expected to address supporters about the ‘current challenges’ the party is facing and also offer solutions.

Speakers will touch on topics including the OAS election report, road access to beaches on Canouan and the election petitions which are currently before the court.

Leader of the Opposition Arnhim Eustace, while speaking on the Hot 97.1 AM Mayhem radio programme yesterday, encouraged persons to come out and show their support.
