The bank treated all mothers at the branch to the event, which was well attended. Tickets were purchased by CIBC FirstCaribbean to facilitate the mothersâ attendance at the function, which was well attended and received.
The Stepz for Christ dance ministry has been hosting a number of events over the past eight years to support its evangelism outreach.
The cheque was presented to Marika Young by CIBC FirstÂCaribbean Business Support officer and Employee EngageÂment champion/Corporate Banking Jacintha Hinds.
Hinds also presented a cheque to Marlon Charles of the St Vincent Planned Parenthood Association, for the groupâs youth rally.
The rally took place on Wednesday, May 18, at Heritage Square in Kingstown.
The rally sought to bring this countryâs youngsters together, in an effort to raise awareness of their sexual reproductive health and rights.
Hinds indicated that the donation to the dance ministry not only shows the bankâs support for the work that the organization is doing in various communities, but is also a way of saying âthank youâ to the mothers employed at CIBC FirstCaribbean.
