Gulf Insurance partnering with SVG Gospel Fest

Gulf Insurance Limited is partnering with the SVG Gospel Fest Committee in staging the 2016 National Gospel Showcases. On Tuesday, branch supervisor Michele Morthely handed over a cheque to Michael Peters, coordinator of the festival, which will go towards the staging of the events in Bequia and in Kingstown. It marked the first time that Gulf Insurance Limited is sponsoring SVG Gospel Fest and the company has also {{more}} pledgedtheir future involvement in this country’s premier gospel event.

The 2016 Digicel SVG Gospel Festival will officially climax this weekend, with two programmes on Friday and Sunday nights.

On Friday night, the Bequia Gospel Showcase will be held at the Clive Tannis Playing Field in Port Elizabeth, with presentations from Allena Osbourne, New Testament Youths and the Bequia Pentecostal Glorifiers, with the first lady of Gospel and

cultural ambassador evangelist Bridget Blucher as the featured artiste.

On Sunday night, at the Victoria Park, the National Gospel Showcase will take place. Then, there will be performances in song, dance and drama from some of the most outstanding artistes coming out of the zonal showcases held last weekend. Scheduled to appear will be: Anelia Ollivierre, Ronnie Richardson, Praise Dancers, Boyz For Christ, Divine Dancers of Overland, among others.

Special guests for that evening will be new recording artistes Nadine Durrant and Pearl Mc Master, along with the internationally acclaimed Keron `D Furnace’ Thomas of Trinidad and Tobago. Evangelist Bridget Blucher will again be the featured artiste.

The 2016 SVG Gospel Festival is being celebrated under the theme: “Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord”. The festival is into its 14th year.
