Digicel C.O.R.P, which comprises of Digicel staff members, was officially launched two weeks ago and is geared towards making the communities across St. Vincent and the Grenadines a better place to live and work.
According to Digicel SVG Marketing Manager Danielle Cupid, the wall at Biabou was chosen for enhancement to coincide with the communityâs football competition â which is presently in progress.
Cupid added that Digicel will continue to find creative ways to develop and give back to the various communities across SVG; not only in the form of sponsorship, but also by members of Digicelâs staff undertaking more community work.
According to the marketing manager, Digicel C.O.R.Pâs first project was the refurbishing of bathrooms at the Calliaqua Anglican School, which included the cleaning and repainting of the bathrooms, the installation of two urinals, tiling, and the retro-fitting of the bathroom doors.
Cupid said Digicel C.O.R.P is still in the process of identifying community projects and initiatives, which will improve the overall quality of life for Vincentians.
Persons with project ideas can submit them to digicelsvgc.o.r.p@digicelgroup.com
