âThe Board of Directors thanks Mr Evans for his service and wishes him every success in his future endeavoursâ, said LIAT in a release.
On Tuesday, LIATâs service in Grenada was disrupted, due to the unavailability of aircraft and LIAT said in a release that the disruption affected customers, who were accommodated on a later flight that day.
âThe management of LIAT is aware of the inconvenience that this may have caused to some passengers and LIAT sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience.
âLIAT wishes to assure its customers that when it is necessary to adjust its schedule on account of any disruption, that there is no discrimination in the way in which it treats its customers.
âLIAT would like to once again apologize to all those who were affected by this situation,â added LIAT in the release.
LIATâs apology comes on the heels of a video posted on social media site Facebook, in which a Barbadian woman in Grenada described as âunprofessionalâ, the way she was treated by LIAT staff who bumped her off her flight to Barbados.
