“The Board of Directors thanks Mr Evans for his service and wishes him every success in his future endeavours”, said LIAT in a release.

On Tuesday, LIAT’s service in Grenada was disrupted, due to the unavailability of aircraft and LIAT said in a release that the disruption affected customers, who were accommodated on a later flight that day.

“The management of LIAT is aware of the inconvenience that this may have caused to some passengers and LIAT sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience.

“LIAT wishes to assure its customers that when it is necessary to adjust its schedule on account of any disruption, that there is no discrimination in the way in which it treats its customers.

“LIAT would like to once again apologize to all those who were affected by this situation,” added LIAT in the release.

LIAT’s apology comes on the heels of a video posted on social media site Facebook, in which a Barbadian woman in Grenada described as “unprofessional”, the way she was treated by LIAT staff who bumped her off her flight to Barbados.
