April 22 is deadline for SVGAMP song competition

Entries for the St Vincent and the Grenadines Association of Music Professionals (SVGAMP) song competition must be submitted by Friday, April 22nd.

The competition, being hosted by SVGAMP during the month of April, is part of the activities for a project entitled “Entertainment Education to influence behaviour towards climate change adaptation”.{{more}}

The songs must have specific climate change lyrical content, while speaking about issues affecting climate change and possible solutions.

Songs can be written in any genre or style and must be between three and five minutes long. The winner will receive a cash prize and an audio and video recording. The second and third positions will receive cash prizes.

Registration forms can be obtained from the SVGAMP Office at the Peace Memorial Hall, while registration forms should be submitted, with audio voice recording and typed lyrics to svg.amps@gmail.com or to the SVGAMP Office at Peace Memorial Hall.
