Library Appreciation Day in SVG
International Library Week will be celebrated this year from April 10 to 16, 2016, under the theme âLibraries Transformâ.
In commemoration of this week the National Public Library of St Vincent and the Grenadines will celebrate on April 13. The opening ceremony will be held from 10 a.m. in the conference room of the National Library.{{more}} At 2 p.m., Vincentian author Curtis W A Williams will launch titles from his eBook collection.
Running all day will be displays and exhibits, demonstrations of the libraryâs Online Public Access Catalogues (OPACS), processing of books, and other material available to the public.
The general public is invited to schedule a visit to the library between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., and to bring along their mobile devices.
Transformation is anticipated and a warm welcome awaits.
