Local author explores life after death in new Kindle book
Local author Shefflorn Ballantyne is pleased to announce the release of his new Kindle book titled: Immortality, Death and the Hereafter.
This book shares biblical and historical insights on the profound questions surrounding the soul and its mortality. Readers will learn where the doctrine of the immortality of the soul originated, what happens when a person dies, all about the resurrections to come and how to face a future of satanic deceptions and miracles and remain unscathed.{{more}}
They will receive clarity on biblical passages, such as: the parable of Lazarus and the rich man; Saulâs bizarre visit to a witch in Endor; Paulâs desire to be absent from his body.
âHaving lost my mom to cancer days before my 20th birthday, and my father a decade before that from liver disease, I have always had an interest in the questions of whether we can receive visits from our dead loved ones, if the dead possess consciousness and whether God will be torturing sinners for billions of years.â
Ballantyne said âThe loss of our loved ones always brings those thoughts to mind as we grieve. Everyone asks these questions. My only intention is for readers to understand how Satan has worked, is working and will work in the future to advance his deceptions, using the unbiblical traditions and doctrines of the immortality of the soul and to take their position against these deceptions.â
According to Ballantyne, âReaders are expected to get a book that handles a very philosophical and ancient question in a very easy-to-read manner. Their beliefs will be challenged, but they will come away from reading this book with biblically sound ideas on the definition of the soul, hell and death, among other things.â
The book will be launched on Amazon on Sunday, March 20, where Kindle readers can receive a FREE Kindle copy. This offer will be for only two days and will end on the night of Monday, March 21. Persons can sign up early by visiting http://immortalitybook.instapage.com to receive the link to the bookâs Amazon page when it is released on Sunday. Paperback copies are expected in bookstores in April.
