CIBC FirstCaribbean celebrates International Women’s Day

Tuesday, March 8 was celebrated worldwide as International Women’s Day. At CIBC First-Caribbean, women now make up the majority of the workforce and there are many who hold senior positions, showing how far women have come in the last 100 years.{{more}}

In all territories that CIBC FirstCaribben International operates, events were held to mark the occasion.

Here in St Vincent, a tea party was held where the women were smartly decked out in hats and sundresses, with guest speaker Dr Jozelle Miller addressing those in attendance on the topic: “Worth of a woman and the significance of building each other.”

Business support officer Jacintha Hinds stated that “the event was a success, and the session was well delivered and received by all.”

Hinds, on behalf of CIBC FirstCaribbean, wished all women Happy International Women’s Day.
