UWI Open Campus continues town hall meetings next week in Canouan
The University of the West Indies Open Campus, St Vincent and the Grenadines Site, will continue its series of town hall meetings this month, commencing on Tuesday, March 8 at the Canouan Government School at 6 p.m. The other meeting for the month of March will take place at the Bequia Anglican Primary School on Thursday, March 17 at 6 p.m.{{more}}
The meetings are designed to share general information on available programmes and courses, admission procedures, and scholarship opportunities at the University of the West Indies with students, parents and generally interested individuals in each community.
The meetings will also provide an opportunity for community leaders and organizations to share with the Open Campus, the training and academic needs of their area. The meetings form part of the Universityâs mandate to engage important stakeholders on underserved educational and training needs in our communities. The Open Campus extends an invitation to residents of these communities to attend the sessions.
