Both work with human figures woven within their subject matter, purging or perpetuating emotional experiences and incorporating tangible reminders and tokens, very similar to the ancient Egyptians obsessed with providing vessels for the Ka.
Time will identify them. There is no need to rush, to place them in a niche, or categorize them quite yet. Their careers are in the spring of exploration and soul searching examination.
The exhibit will be up for one night only, tonight, Friday, March 4, from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
