GG to present Throne Speech next week

Governor General Sir Frederick Ballantyne will present the Throne Speech next Monday, February 22, on the occasion of the first session of the 10th Parliament of the House of Assembly.{{more}}

The event, which will be presided over by Speaker of the House of Assembly Jomo Thomas, will take place at the House of Assembly beginning at 4 p.m.

Following the Throne Speech, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Dr Ralph Gonsalves will present his Budget Address.

Debate on the Budget will begin on February 23.
