Consultant from OECS Diaspora Engagement and Remittances project to visit

The Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) has received technical assistance from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), focusing on OECS Diaspora Engagement and Remittances.{{more}}

The technical assistance will contribute to ongoing efforts in the field of diaspora engagement and remittances and will pave the way for the creation of an enabling environment for policy harmonization, improved opportunities and benefits from diaspora engagements and remittances.

The Regional Integration and Diaspora Unit will be coordinating the visit of consultant Pedro Marcelino for the OECS Diaspora Engagement and Remittances project. Marcelino will be in St Vincent and the Grenadines during the period February 15 -16, 2016.

During his visit, Marcelino will meet with stakeholders from the SVG Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Digicel St Vincent, Immigration Department, and the Financial Services Authority.
