Jomari, a graduate of UWI Cave Hill Campus, majoring in Accounting, joined the Digicel family in June 2007. During the eight years with Digicel, his commitment and work ethics have exemplified what it means to be extraordinary. âItâs truly an honour working for Digicel. I am ecstatic being part of this dynamic team and look forward to serving in my capacity as Finance manager,â Jomari said.
Jahvad joined the Digicel family as a Finance temp in September 2012, just after completing his studies at the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College. This was shown when he received a permanent position in April 2014, as well as the Digi Star award in the same year.
âIâm very grateful for the opportunity given to me and I know this experience will go a long way for my individual growth and development. I trust that the team will be supportive of my new role and I want to thank the grace of God for bringing me thus far.â
Meanwhile, Petula, who joined the Digicel family in 2015, is elated for the recognition in just a few short months. Having completed her studies at the Technical College here in St Vincent and the Grenadines, she is pursuing her studies at The University of the West Indies. She has stated that she is âexcited to continue to deliver extraordinary customer service to the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines.â
In commending all staff on their promotions and recognition, the new head of Mobile Operations, Dionne Emtage, said âWe know that in these unsure times with lay-offs and changes within the work environment, a sense of stability is important to foster a productive work environment. We at Digicel are committed to ensuring that our staff understand that we appreciate their dedication and are rewarded accordingly. We are the employer of choice and we will continue to look within our ranks to develop and grow the careers of our employees.â
