RUBIS’S country representative Elroy Edwards said: “This year, as we have done over the last two years, Rubis is very happy to be collaborating with the Ministry of National Mobilization and Social Development and agencies within the various communities of St Vincent and the Grenadines in giving back to the community and Vincentians as whole. Our goal is to assist those most in need, while spreading the joy of Christmas. Christmas is about touching lives and we at Rubis believe in doing our utmost in touching and positively changing the lives of persons, especially those are challenged or marginalized.’’

This initiative came in for very high praise from persons within the communities and recipients alike. According to recipient Dorsher Humphrey of Peruvian Vale, “Blessings come in many forms and I am very grateful to Rubis for this food basket.”

Rubis annually organizes a drive to fill baskets with food and presents, which are then distributed to low-income seniors, as part of the company’s commitment to giving back to the Vincentian community.
