‘Remnants of Gideon’ is the Drama Ministry of Exalt Him Worship Ministries, a non-profit evangelistic entity. The Remnants of Gideon’s Theatrical Production “Bittersweet – Love, sweat and tears” will be held nightly at Peace Memorial Hall from January 1 – 3, 2016.

This play highlights the scourge of domestic abuse and its many faces. It stirs up emotions of jealousy, deceit, hurt and love. With a cast of 10 members, the play promises to deliver a strong storyline, dramatic hooks and to present a sobering message of hope and reconciliation.

Remnants of Gideon has produced several stage plays over the years from “The Pri$e of Happiness” in 2011, “Bride of Envy” in 2012, “Broken Circles” in 2013 to “Ugly” in 2014. They were participants in the Bank of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Ministry of Culture’s National Theatre Arts Festival before they officially graduated from the festival this year. With past successes, they are confident that they will execute a production par excellence in 2016.

Sherilan “Sheree” Dennie Edward has been playwright and director of Remnants of Gideon’s productions over the years and the production “Bittersweet – Love, sweat and tears” is no exception. The cast of the Remnants of Gideon’s January 2016 production will feature the veterans who consistently deliver and some fresh faces will delight when they take to the stage.

Tickets for Remnants of Gideon’s “Bittersweet – Love, sweat and tears” are available at Aeropost Kingstown at a cost of $25. They invite the public to visit their event facebook page: Exalt Him Theatre Arts Ministry- Remnants of Gideon. The proceeds from the production will go to ministry projects and charitable ventures.
