Missing man found dead in mountains

This country has recorded its 25th homicide, with the discovery of the body of a 62-year-old man in a mountain range on the Windward side of the island.{{more}}

The partially decomposed body of Vandy Johnson, of Langley Park, was discovered last Friday, November 27, in Bowers Mountain, two weeks after he had been reported missing by his son Conrad Billingy.

A post mortem that was carried out on the deceased determined that cause of death was exsanguination, due to multiple chop wounds to the body.

Exsanguination is defined as the severe loss of blood.

SEARCHLIGHT attempted to contact the deceased’s son, but was unable to make contact before time of press.

The police are investigating the matter. (JSV)
