Political leaders to speak to SVGCC student body
Students of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) will have a chance later this week to hear from the two main political parties in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).{{more}}
A release from the SVGCC said âAs the date for the next General Elections draws near, the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College wishes to play its part in lifting the political discourse in our country and providing an opportunity for our students and staff to meet with and hear from the two main political parties in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
To this end, the College is organizing an opportunity for the College Community to hear from the leaders and ask questions of them. This event is scheduled for Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Villa campus of the College, to be done in two phases. The first phase will begin at 11:15 a.m. and will feature the political leader of the New Democratic Party, Mr Arnhim Eustace. The second phase will begin at 1 p.m. and will feature the political leader of the Unity Labour Party, Dr Ralph Gonsalves. Each phase is scheduled to last for about 1 1/4 hours and will feature a presentation by the leader for no more than 30 minutes, followed by a question and answer period for no more than 45 minutes.â
