Gurley wins $10,000 in Court’s Whirlpool campaign

Bernadette Gurley is grateful for the blessing of winning $10,000 from furniture, appliance, electronics and eye-care provider Courts St Vincent Limited.

The Kingstown housewife was the grand prize winner in the store’s Whirlpool campaign, where one lucky shopper walked away with the grand prize during the three-week promotion.{{more}}

“I’ve always been a long-time shopper at Courts, and I think it is truly a blessing to win this prize. God is good. I’m feeling blessed to win.”

Gurley paid cash for the Whirlpool freezer that she purchased during the campaign, and said that it was a great surprise for her.

When asked about the plans for the winnings, the jubilant lady said that she has an idea of what she is going to do, and plans to make good use of the money.

Gurley persuaded Courts customers to continue shopping at the store, since they may never know when it would be their turn to win.

“I would encourage people to shop at Courts, especially with Christmas around the corner, you can be sure that Courts has something in store for its customers. You can go there, pay a little money monthly and at the end of the day you can have your own stuff.

“You also stand a chance to win something, and that’s what I love about Courts.”
