Human remains found at Kings Hill

The human remains discovered last Saturday in the Kings Hill Forest Reserve by hunters have still not been indentified.

Police, in a release, said the skeleton, minus the skull, was found approximately 300 metres from the main road, while the skull was discovered 120 feet from the rest of the remains.{{more}}

The first set of remains was discovered around 11 a.m. on Saturday.

According to the release, police of the South Central Division led a search party to the area after hunters had reported their findings of human remains in the Forest Reserve.

Homicide investigators are looking into the circumstances of the death.

Five months ago, the body of 18-year-old Katisha Bess of Lowmans Leeward was discovered in the Kings Hill Forest Reserve.

Forty-nine-year-old Medford Caine of the same address has been charged in connection with her murder.
