SVGMC Independence bikers’ activities kick off today
The St Vincent and the Grenadines Motorcycle Club (SVGMC) will once again this year host bikers from outside of St Vincent and the Grenadines, this time, in celebration of this countryâs 36th anniversary of Independence.
Bike activities begin here today, Friday, October 23, from 4 p.m. There will be a bike display and a meet and greet at Heritage Square. A welcome party will also be held at Martyâs Sports Bar in Pembroke later today.{{more}}
Tomorrow, Saturday, October 24, a bike fair and exhibition will be held at Arnos Vale from 11 a.m. This will be followed by an all-white pool party at Spring Estate.
Sunday, October 25 will see bikers making a Leeward tour, which will take riders to Chateaubelair. That day there will also be rally and motor cross activities at Diamond and a party at Punkieâs Bar in Arnos Vale.
On Sunday, October 26, there will be an all-day event at Mt Wynne at Handle Bar. This event will pay tribute to those who have lost their lives while riding.
The bikers will on October 27, Independence Day, attend the national independence parade and the Heritage Village at Heritage Square, Kingstown. That day will also see a Windward tour to Owia, which will conclude at the Rabacca Bridge.
Riders are expected to come from Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, St Lucia and Martinique.
