Botanic Gardens to host national floral exhibition

The Botanic Gardens continues the celebration of its 250th anniversary with a horticultural exhibition this weekend.{{more}}

On Saturday and Sunday, the Botanic Gardens, in collaboration with the Horticultural Society, will host a national floral exhibition under the theme ‘Bountiful Splendour’.

The general public is invited and participants will compete for prizes in 11 categories (potted plant, specimen of cut flowers, fresh floral arrangement, dried arrangement, small display of fruits and vegetables, cacti and succulents; orchids, African violets, ferns, herbs, hanging baskets).
