Grammar School to hold ‘Old Boys Day’

The St Vincent Grammar School will be hosting ‘Old Boys Day’ next Monday, September 21.

A release from the school said the activity is being reintroduced in an attempt to promote a greater level of interaction between the present group of students and the school’s past students. The management of the school believes that its population of over 700 students can gain inspiration and motivation from the wisdom and experience of many of its past students.

“The format for this year’s activity is simple. Past students are invited to visit the school and make short motivational talks/presentations/speeches to students in their classrooms. Presentations are to be relevant and appropriate to the students’ level of maturity/development.,” the release said.

The school is inviting as many past students to visit the school on Monday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to meet and speak to the students.
