New Testament Church of God celebrating 75th anniversary

The New Testament Church of God (NTCOG) St Vincent and St Lucia (SVG/St Lucia) heightens its 75th anniversary celebrations with the launch of its book “The New Testament Church of God St Vincent and St Lucia – The Journey” this afternoon, at the Methodist Church Hall, at 5 p.m.{{more}}

The book presents the entire 75-year journey of the church, from pioneering missionaries and the visionary leader, the late Mother Priam, to current era and day!

The celebrations move into top gear on Wednesday, April 15, at 7 p.m., at Wilson Hill, Kingstown, with the official commencement of Convention 2015, under the theme, “Hitherto hath the Lord helped us, for we are ONE!”

Convention 2015 revs up a notch on Thursday, April 16, with another great night of preaching, worshipping, praise and thanksgiving.

On Friday, April 17, it is “Youth Extravaganza!” – an explosion of youth experiences, talents, and gifts as Church of God youths demonstrate 75 years of grit and grace. A number of local and Caribbean talents will minister in dance, drama, song, worship and praise.

Convention climaxes on Sunday, April 19, with the grand finale beginning at 9 a.m. at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex.

“Then, get your praise garments and instrument ready at 2 p.m. for a great celebration of worship, praise and thanksgiving. This promises to be a real blessing to all, and the entire nation of SVG is invited as we lose ourselves in worship to God for His mercy and faithfulness. Don’t you miss it!” a release from the church said.

The entire celebration on Sunday will be streamed live on the Internet, and the evening session will be broadcast live on SVGTV and NBC Radio as New Testament Church of God says thanks. “Hitherto hath the Lord helped us – for we are ONE!”
