Zone A (Kingstown) will see presentations from the St Vincent Girls’ High School, the St Vincent Grammar School and Thomas Saunders Secondary School at the National Insurance Services’ (NIS) main conference room on the third floor of the NIS Building, located on Upper Bay Street, Kingstown on Monday, November 17 from 10 a.m. Zone B (Windward) will see presentations from the George Stephens Senior Secondary School, Georgetown Secondary School, Mountain View Adventist Academy and the North Union Secondary school at the South Windward Learning Resource Centre, Biabou on Tuesday, November 18 from 10 a.m. Zone C (Leeward) will see presentations from the Petit Bordel Secondary School, the St Martin’s Secondary School and the Troumaca Ontario Secondary School at the Barrouallie Learning Resource Centre on Wednesday, November 19 from 10 a.m. Zone C (Union Island) will see presentations from the Union Island Secondary School at that school on Thursday, November 20 from 1 p.m.

Through this initiative, known as the I Squared competition, the NTRC hopes to tap into the students’ creativity by challenging them to develop and present projects in the form of ideas and mobile applications that can implement new or improve existing systems in the current departments within the Public Service of St Vincent and the Grenadines and other state agencies that provide services to the public. Such improvements can lead to cost savings or result in the faster delivery of such service.
