Digicel promotions winners
A number of Digicel customers enjoyed their Easter more than usual, as they were lucky winners in a number of giveaway promotions put on by the telecommunications services provider.{{more}}
During Digicelâs afternoon radio session on Hot 97.1 FM on Friday, April 11, the hosts of the program, Products manager at Digicel Justin John and Marketing executive Danielle Cupid, called Digicelâs flagship store The Cell (located on Halifax Street) and rewarded the customer who was doing a transaction at the time of the call.
The person lucky enough to be carrying out a purchase at the time was Ezra Robertson, and as a result, he was rewarded with a Digicel DL600 smart phone.
Also winning a DL600 during the Hot 97.1 FM Digicel session was Denise Baptiste.
Baptiste won her phone as she was the first person to unscramble a word (EXTRAORDINARY) given over the radio and send it to the Digicel Blackberry Messenger (BBM).
Both winners expressed joy at having won the devices just by listening to the radio and carrying out a simple task.
