Dr J.P. Eustace Memorial Secondary School wins February Bible Quiz

The February winner of the Secondary School Bible Quiz, Ranisha Jack of the Dr J.P. Eustace Memorial Secondary School, received her prize at the school’s general assembly on Monday, March 11, from visiting motivational speaker Michael A.T. Stewart, in the presence of Joel Jack, quiz coordinator.{{more}}

While addressing the gathering, Stewart, a communications consultant, president of the Tobago club of Toastmasters International and the 2013 Winner of Toastmasters (Trinidad and Tobago) Impromptu Speaking Competition, gave a brief recipe for success. He incorporated the thought used at the devotional “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart” and reminded his listeners of Paul’s statement “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Stewart pointed to the need to have dreams, seek to achieve goals along the way and to work hard while removing distractions.

In other SSBQ news, two tickets to attend the Karen Hinds Phenomenal Women’s Conference, Youth Session, are on offer to winners of the March Quiz. The assigned passage and questions can be seen on the SSBQ web site, www.ssbq.org
