Eustace said he wanted the Prime Minister to âcome clean on what Augustus didâ, adding that Vincentians at home and abroad need to know.
He said he wanted the Prime Minister to state clearly that no others in his government were involved, since he does not believe that Augustus acted alone.
The Prime Ministerâs Office, in announcing the recall of the deputy consul general, said he was involved in activities outside the scope of his employment and inimical to interests of the Consulate General and the Government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The announcement said âall matters touching and concerning the said activities are under further reviewâ. Eustace has, however, dismissed the Governmentâs statement as insufficent for the Vincentian people.
