Rastafarian group enlightens Community College students

“Holy Emmanuel I Selassie I Jah Ras Tafar ‘I’” were the words used as Vincentian RastafarI history was made on Wednesday, 29 January, 2014, with the presence of their St Vincent and the Grenadines Ambassador Hon Prophet Jah Winston and Leading Empress (Canadian born) Empress Ika from the Ethiopia Africa Black International Congress-Women Freedom Liberation League (EABIC-WFLL) at the local Community College.{{more}}

The Royal Sons and Daughter of the EABIC-WFLL strengthened and enlightened the students of Professor Wendell Walters’ Communications Studies’ class on love, self-thought, self-awareness and self-control, a release from the group said.

The two-part lecture study touched on respecting each other, RastafarI way of life, repatriation and reparation. There was also a question and answer session.

“The Ethiopia Africa Black International Congress-Women Freedom Liberation League stands strong with the words of Rt Hon Marcus Mosiah Garvey ‘ One AIM, One God, One DESTINY’ so that our generations of children can contribute to a better society and way of civilization”, the release said.

“This historic moment has been marked as the first RastafarI, House of Boboshanti lecture in our St Vincent schools. As we look forward to many more of these sessions, the Ethiopia Africa Black International Congress- Women Freedom Liberation League (EABIC-WFLL) in Addis Abba, Ghana and worldwide shall look to the East and say, ‘Prince and Princess shall come out of Egypt; we Ethiopians shall stretch forth our hands and hearts onto God.’ Selah.”
