Rubis-SVG account executive and country representative Elroy Edwards, said that along with other types of relief assistance being given, âthat number in dollars terms will be relatively significant.â
Rubis is also assisting five secondary school students who were seriously affected by the Christmas Eve floods by providing books, uniforms and other needed supplies. The donation will enable the students to not just return to school, but remain at school for the rest of the current school year. Edwards said the names of the students were provided by the schoolâs authorities.
Rubis also recently collaborated with its competitor SOL in donating flood relief food supplies to the Red Cross.
Edwards also noted that during the month of December, Rubis-SVG donated food baskets to elderly and underprivileged people across St Vincent and the Grenadines.
âAs a company we will forever hold the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines with high regards and will do anything in our power to assist in time of need,â he said.
