Digicel rewards cricket fans via BBM

Digicel has rewarded five persons with tickets to this weekend’s T-20 International cricket matches which will be held at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28.{{more}}

The five won tickets when they answered a question broadcast from Digicel’s SVG Blackberry device.

Marketing executive at Digicel Justin John said that winners all received two tickets each, as they were the first five persons to answer correctly the question in the BBM ticket giveaway trivia. Persons were asked via BBM, “What year did Digicel take over the sponsorship of West Indies cricket?” The correct answer is 2004. “The first five winners with the correct answer won two tickets each. At present the Digicel BB device has 890 contacts. The device is used as another form of customer care and also for promotional giveaways,” said John, who added “to contact us you may add the BBM pin which is 25C5510D or via Whatsapp at 5263444”.

T-20 World Champions the West Indies take on Pakistan at the Arnos Vales Sports Complex tomorrow Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28. The games start at 2 p.m.
