The company has also designed a one-week campaign to reward its valued customers.
Marketing officer at Courts Alexis John said on Monday that Courts was officially launched locally in February 1998 and in the companyâs efforts to celebrate its years of service, âwe have developed a one-week campaign to celebrate 14 years and at the same time we got our new uniformsâ.
He added âit is very fitting to be celebrating 14 years and at the same time come out with a new lookâ.
John said that persons shopping at the Courts stores can easily identify the sales representatives as they are decked out in mustard coloured tops and navy blue bottoms that showcase Courtsâ logo. He said that additionally, persons can differentiate between office staff and sales staff, as the office staff now sport shirts that display Courtsâ parent company logo, the Unicomer group logo.
âThe Unicomer group from El Salvador owns Courts for about five years now, so we now sport the Unicomer logoâ, said John.
He added that as a result of the 14th anniversary celebrations, customers who shopped (cash or credit) at Courts this week and spent EC$499 or more âgot double ham, double turkey or double grogâ.
âIn addition to a number of deals across the store, there was 28 percent off selected dining sets and big deals on TCL 19-inch televisions, while persons who spent EC$499 or more were given discounts on a number of personal care itemsâ, said John who added that these deals come to an end tomorrow Saturday, October 20.
Thanking customers for supporting the company over the years, John said, âthanks for making Courts your one stop. We couldnât have done it without the customersâ.
He added âall family moments are enhanced by Courts, whether it is a TV that benefits the entire family by allowing persons to view movies together, or a stove that helps maintain a family tradition, that favourite homemade bread that the entire neighbourhood comes for on weekends; we have touched so many livesâ.
He added that over the years Courts has operated in St Vincent and the Grenadines, the company has given back to the community in terms of sports, culture and education.
