The two are Bishma Brown and Erene Richardson. Brown was the lucky winner of an iPad 3, while Richardson won a new flat screen TV. They both won in the campaign’s monthly prize draw, during the months of March and April. Both were presented with their winnings by CIBC Country Manager Elroy John and Business Support Officer Aliethea Dickson.

Brown and Richardson were automatically entered into the competition simply by using their Visa credit card to make payments over US$50 or the local equivalent. In addition, they were also eligible for the campaign’s grand prize draw of a trip for two to the London 2012 Olympic Games, courtesy of Visa, an official sponsor of the Games.

Commenting on his win, Brown expressed gratitude to CIBC, noting that: “It’s not a bad gesture. It (the iPad) will be useful and I’m looking forward to viewing the Olympics on this latest version of the iPad.”

Richardson, for her part, was just as enthusiastic about her new flat screen television. Noting that this was the first time she was actually using her credit card, Richardson said she was indeed happy when she received the call, telling her she was a winner.

“Now I don’t have to spend any money to buy a flat screen tv,” she quipped.

During the campaign, new Visa credit card clients also received triple entries and Olympics memorabilia, as CIBC FirstCaribbean’s way of sharing in the excitement of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
