The Centre for Enterprise Development Inc (CED) today announced the extension of the deadline to facilitate persons who have not yet had a chance to register. The deadline for registration is now Friday, August 10.

The Project Management Seminar, which is scheduled for August 21 and 22, will be held as a collaborative effort between CED and the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity (BIMAP).

Participants will be equipped with the necessary tools to improve their ability to initiate, plan, cost and evaluate the risks involved in project activities. They would also be able to list the various tools and techniques of project initiation and planning; monitor and evaluate risks associated with projects; and implement strategies to help manage time and cost in various phases of the project.

BIMAP’s lecturer, Charles Marville Bsc, MBA will facilitate the accredited seminar. His long and distinguished career sees him currently holding positions such as Project Manager of the Geo-Referencing Programme in Barbados and Project Co-ordinator of the Water Supply Systems Rehabilitation and Upgrade Project (WSSRUP). Marville is also the Project Manager of his country’s West Coast Sewerage Project.

Persons interested in participating the Project Management seminar can contact CED’s office on Grenville Street or call 451-2235/6.
