The three nominees on the government side are Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves and Ministers Clayton Burgin and Saboto Caesar, while Leader of the Opposition Arnhim Eustace and Dr Godwin Friday have been selected to represent the Opposition.

The five members of Parliament were selected during Tuesday’s session of the House.

The OECS Assembly, according to Gonsalves, is a consultative body to the OECS Authority, charged with rule making powers.

When the meeting convenes next Friday, 39 representatives from the nine OECS member states will be in attendance.

Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines are full member OECS states, while Monsterrat, Anguilla and the British Virgin Islands are associate members. (DD)
