Foreign Affairs/SVGCC to host panel discussion on OECS Economic Union

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commerce and Trade, in conjunction with the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) will host a panel discussion tomorrow on the OECS Economic Union.{{more}}

The topic for the discussion will be “The Implications of the OECS Economic Union, the CARICOM Single Market and Economy and the Economic Partnership Agreement on Job Opportunities”.

The panel will comprise one representative each from the CARICOM CSME Unit, the OECS Secretariat, the Economic Partnership Agreement – St Vincent and the Grenadines Implementation Unit, as well as the CARICOM YOUTH Ambassador for St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The 2012 theme for the SVGCC Lectures is “Civic Responsibility: Forging Good Citizens”. Tomorrow’s panel discussion, which will take place at the Kingstown Methodist Church Hall, will start at 8 p.m.

It will serve as the SVGCC’s lecture for July.
