Ecotourism/Biodiversity Protection Project for Kamacroubou Mountain, Diamond Community

The Diamond Village Community Heritage Organisation (DVCHO) will launch its Ecotourism and Biodiversity Protection Project for the Kamacroubou Mountain and Diamond Community with a Public Consultation this evening.{{more}}

The launch will take place at the Clinic Junction, in Diamond, commencing at 7 p.m.

The project will see the DVCHO partnering with the Forestry Department in an effort to demarcate the Bobby Stone Trail; reforest parts of the interior; train persons in culinary arts, and promote the exploration of the area, among other things.

The Heritage Organisation invites everyone in the community of Diamond and surroundings to attend and participate in the public consultation.
