The four-week programme runs from Monday and ends with a closing ceremony on Sunday August 19.

There will be two sessions. The first of which will commence at 9 a.m. and end at 12 noon daily. This facilitates children from age 8-15 years. The second begins at 5 p.m. daily, and this is more geared towards adults. There is a fee for the first session, $20, while that of the adult session is negotiable.

Sessions are held in the PSO pan yard, in Calliaqua and interested persons can contact Patrick ‘Grey’ Baptiste at 784-455-9285. The Potential Steel Orchestra, founded in 1980, has been hosting this summer programme for the past few years and has been fundamental in contributing to the development of many youths for the past few years, and looks forward to doing that once more this year.
