As part of their 12th anniversary celebrations, members of the committee’s executive handed over the supplies, which were donated by persons overseas, to the clinic yesterday.

President of the committee Carlton Browne said the gesture was just one of the activities being undertaken to mark the group’s milestone, and to make a contribution to the community.

The move was applauded by area representative Maxwell Charles and Sister Rosalind Browne, supervisor at the clinic, who commended the group for the donation, and called on other groups to make similar donations.

The group handed over to the health center gauze and bandages, thermometers, stethoscopes, blood pressure monitors, prep pads, and a nebulizer, among other items.
